This is a model of a stone altar. It is not part of the Tabernacle. It is an example of one of the other displays at this facility and represents altars described in the Old Testament.

The altar is at Dan. This was a pagan altar set up during the days of the divided kingdom. Dan is in the extreme north of the Galilee just on the border of Lebanon. The metal stand shows where the altar was. Scripture: 1 Kings 12

This is an Old Testament altar. The high points of the four corners are called "horns" and the blood of the sacrificed animal was sprinkled on them.
