Matthew 13:3-9 "And he spoke to them many things in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went forth to sow; and as he sowed, some [seeds] fell by the way side, and the birds came and devoured them: and others fell upon the rocky places, where they had not much earth: and straightway they sprang up, because they had no deepness of earth: and when the sun was risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And others fell upon the thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked them: and others fell upon the good ground, and yielded fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He that hath ears, let him hear." Click on the link to see images that

Matthew 7:24-27, Luke 6:46-49 “The wise man built his house upon
a rock. The foolish man built his house upon the sand. The story of
the Wise and Foolish builders was told by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount.
Jesus said that everyone who listened to him was like a wise man who built his
house upon a rock and when the winds blew and rain came that the house stood
firm but whoever did not listen to Jesus was like a foolish man who built
his house upon the sand. When the rains came and the winds blew then the
house fell down because it was set on sand."

Luke 19:1-10 “When Jesus was walking through Jericho he came across a
rich tax collector name Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus wasn’t very tall and climbed
into a sycamore tree to see Jesus pass by. When Jesus saw Zacchaeus, he
told him to come down because he was going to stay at Zacchaeus’ house. The
people didn’t like Zacchaeus and claimed that Jesus was going to stay at the
house of a sinner. Zacchaeus said that he was going to give half of his
possessions to the poor and that if he had cheated anyone then he would pay them
back 4 times as much as he had taken. Jesus said that salvation had come
to the house of Zacchaeus and that Jesus came to seek and save the lost."

Matthew 8:1-4, Mark 1:40-45, and Luke 5:12-15 "When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes
followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You
are willing, You can make me clean. Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him,
saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And
Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to
the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

Matthew 9:2-8, Mark 2:2-12 "Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying
on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good
cheer; your sins are forgiven you. And at once some of the scribes said within
themselves, "This Man blasphemes!" But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why
do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are
forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise and walk'? But that you may know that the Son
of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--then He said to the paralytic,
"Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." And he arose and departed to
his house. Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who
had given such power to men."

The Prodigal Son

Luke 15:11-32 "And
He said, “A man had two sons. “The
younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the estate
that falls to me.’ So he divided his wealth between them. “And
not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a
journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose
living. “Now
when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he
began to be impoverished. “So
he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, and he
sent him into his fields to feed swine. “And
he would have gladly filled his stomach with the pods that the swine were
eating, and no one was giving anything to him. “But
when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have
more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger! ‘I
will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned
against heaven, and in your sight; I
am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men.”’
“So he
got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father
saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed
him. “And
the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I
am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ “But
the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on
him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; and
bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for
this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been
found.’ And they began to celebrate. “Now
his older son was in the field, and when he came and approached the house, he
heard music and dancing. “And
he summoned one of the servants and began inquiring what these things
could be. “And
he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened
calf because he has received him back safe and sound.’ “But
he became angry and was not willing to go in; and his father came out and
began pleading with him. “But
he answered and said to his father, ‘Look! For so many years I have been serving
you and I have never neglected a command of yours; and yet you have never
given me a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends; but
when this son of yours came, who has devoured your wealth with prostitutes, you
killed the fattened calf for him.’ “And
he said to him, ‘Son, you have always been with me, and all that is mine is
yours. ‘But
we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has
begun to live, and was lost and has been found.’”
