BIBLE TIC TAC TOE

PROS:  We like the game.  Unlike the "Bible Baseball" game below which can be pretty slow at times.  This game  moves along fast.  The graphics are large and work well in the classroom.  Make sure that you have a sound system since it uses neat special effects sounds.
CONS:  It only comes with questions based on the "science and the Bible" class that the author teaches.  If you are using the author's teaching material then this is ready for you but most people will have to put in their own questions. The question text is a little small but the playing board is large.    We also wish that this game came with an uninstall feature.

The author of "Bible Tic Tac Toe" is Hill Roberts. Roberts leads the "Lord, I Believe" apologetics workshops which he, with his wife Carol and six other teachers, developed to bring current scientific findings together with conservative Bible faith at a level suitable for both adults and children.  Hill serves as a teacher and deacon with the Weatherly Heights church of Christ in Huntsville, Alabama.  Hill studied Physics, specializing in Quantum Mechanics and Condensed Matter, at the University of Alabama.; MS 1978.  He has taught professional seminars and holds patents in infrared sensors.  He has presented his research in professional peer journals and conferences in the US, Romania and Russia.  He works for SRS Technologies, a national aerospace R&D company, where he is currently performing research on nuclear isomers.  Contact him at hill.roberts@stg.srs.com

Bible Baseball Game

This is a great game.  It comes with some simple graphics and sounds.  You play the game by answering questions.  An easy question is worth a single, and harder questions are worth more up to the Home Run level.  Each wrong answer gives your team an out.   This game was really designed for individuals but we use it in the Sunday School to play teams against one another.  You can get a separate question editor to input your own questions to review the material that you have been teaching in class.
PROS:  A well done game and fun to play.
CONS:  This game can go along pretty slow.  We always set it to only one out per inning instead of 3.  Even so, it can still get bogged down if the questions aren't challenging enough.  We usually limit teams to only asking for one or two "singles" per inning to keep the game moving.
