LARGE FONT BIBLE SOFTWARE FOR PROJECTORS One of the problems I have had is finding one that will allow you to show large enough fonts to use with a projector. For some reason, I have found that several products limit your font size to sizes that are too small to see on the big screen. The "Logos" software not only allows you to increase font size to 48 points but it allows you to increase font size with a shortcut command without having to go through a menu. Just press "CTRL "SHIFT" "Period" keys to increase size or with the "Comma" key to decrease size. Visit them at: Logos. Another cool feature for teachers is the automatic puzzle maker: Logos Puzzle Maker.

LOW COST, HIGH LUMEN PROJECTOR Our church has been using an old Kodak video projector for several years. It probably wasn't putting out even 600 lumens of light. We called the Projector Place and were told about an Eiki LC-XB40 video projector. A 4,000 lumen projector for only $1695! I was surprised at the price. We bought it. What an incredible difference it made. If you call ask for Reggie. He is the one that suggested it to us. 1-800-528-3611. We don't get anything for this recommendation, just passing along the info to you.

USB EXTENDER We have a lot of interference problems and couldn't get our wireless mouse to work well from 60 feet away. We bought a USB extender that allowed us to extend the USB port on our computer. It connects together with regular CAT-5 cable. Check it out at http://www.cyberguys.com/templates/searchdetail.asp?productID=11251 This will let you extend USB devices up to 150 feet. (We don't make any money on them selling these. Just passing along a good idea.)

YouTube For Sound There is a new website that is billing itself as a kind of "YouTube" for sound. This site has thousands of sounds. It would be very useful for background sounds for videos and drama. SoundSnap.com.

SermonView.com I am astonished at the increase in quality of PowerPoint graphics for churches. One great example is SermonView.com They have rapidly established a great group of over 840 slide sets (2500+ individual slides) for sermons and teaching.
