TABERNACLE MODEL
This model was constructed by our Jr. and Sr. High class in 2002-2004. The model was based on a kit that we purchased. The kit had about 300 parts. Normally, the company makes the tabernacle tent to one scale and the courtyard to another scale. This is done to make the model easier to handle. We had the company custom cut our parts so that the whole model would be to the same scale. This made for a more accurate model but was a LOT harder to handle. We added a LOT to the original kit. All in all, our model had well over 1000 parts.
This is not a project to take on lightheartedly. We put several hundred manhours into this model.

We bought brads, nails, a staplegun, various paints glue, etc for assembling the model.

We went to a local hobby store and bought a variety of tiny gold and silver rings to use in the Tabernacle.
